Preparing Mentally & Emotionally

  • Reflect on your “why.” Bring a written note or personal statement that reminds you of your motivation—why recovery matters to you.
  • Talk to your support circle. Let friends/family know your basics and expectations for stays, calls, visits.
  • Rest well before you arrive. A calm mind and rested body set a solid foundation.
  • Show up ready to learn. Receptive, open, and prepared for new routines and approaches.

Arrival Day: What to Expect

  • Check-in Process: You’ll meet with our intake team who will verify ID, collect forms, and begin your assessment.
  • Initial Screening: A medical review helps us gauge your physical and mental status to personalize care.
  • Orientation & Tour: We’ll introduce you to the campus, treatment schedule, and guidelines so you feel comfortable and informed by day’s end.

After You Arrive

  • You’ll meet with your treatment team—clinicians, counselors, and peer-support staff—to plan the first steps.
  • Group and one-on-one therapy sessions start promptly.
  • We offer wellness activities, like guided meditation, yoga, and light group exercise—open to all.

Final Tips

  • Stay connected—but limited: We help coordinate communication with loved ones through scheduled calls or supervised visits.
  • Guard your privacy: Phones and devices stay secured—no unauthorized use.
  • Be open & engaged: Your active participation supports healing and shared community strength.
  • Expect adjustments: You may feel nervous or unsure—but that’s part of growth. Our staff is here to support, answer questions, and guide you.
