With a deep passion for helping others, Richard believes in using his position to make a positive impact. “I truly enjoy helping our clients start their recovery journey and guiding them toward their continuum of aftercare,” he says. “Having been in recovery myself for going on six years, I like to share my experience with the next person, because we can’t keep it if we don’t give it away.”

Recovery is a daily process, and Richard always reminds clients that it takes time: “You can’t think your way into a new way of living, but you can live your way into a new way of thinking!”

Richard brings five years of experience in the recovery industry. He previously worked at South Carolina Addiction Treatment in admissions and community outreach, and later served as Director of Business Development for Ascend Recovery Center.

Richard is motivated by witnessing the transformation of those he helps. “I’m able to watch people restore their lives,” he says. He has an unwavering dedication to helping others find a new way to live sober.
