American Detox & Treatment Center

EAP Drug Rehab Center

The majority of people living with a substance use disorder in the United States are employed. In fact, statistics indicate that about 70 percent of people with a diagnosable drug or alcohol problem are employed. This translates to about 13.6 million United States workers. If you are one of the many United States employees living with a substance use disorder at this time, you may have access to an employee assistance program (EAP) through your job. In that case, finding an EAP drug rehab center is a smart move.

Whether you’re looking for an EAP drug rehab center for yourself or someone you know, you’re in the right place. This page will cover how using an EAP can help you pay for addiction treatment at American Detox and how the programs and services at our EAP drug rehab center will help you or your loved one heal.

Paying for Treatment

Using an EAP to Cover Addiction Treatment at American Detox

An EAP is an employment-based program that offers a variety of services to employees, including help covering substance abuse and mental health treatment. While not all jobs will give you access to an EAP, those who do have access to one can use it to help pay for drug and alcohol rehab services. As for why using your EAP to pay for addiction treatment matters, most people cannot pay for addiction treatment and detox services out of pocket. Without help, substance abuse treatment can cost up to thousands of dollars per week.

Finding an EAP drug rehab center like American Detox means that you can use your EAP to help pay for detox and rehab services. Please call American Detox to find out how your EAP can help you pay for the cost of treatment at our EAP drug rehab center in South Carolina.

Our staff members can help you plan for time off of work, and when it is time, we can help you plan for your return. Although many employees fear seeking addiction treatment due to stigma, the truth is that it is actually better for your work in the long run.

Substance abuse can cause problems at work, leading to consequences like decreased job performance, loss of employment, and increased rates of accidents, injury, or overdose, which can be fatal. On the other hand, substance use disorder recovery may be linked to positive workplace outcomes.

What We Offer

Our EAP Drug Rehab Programs & Treatment Services

You can use your EAP to cover the cost of all programs and services at American Detox. As an inpatient EAP drug rehab center in South Carolina, we offer the following treatment programs and services.

Detox Center

American Detox is both an inpatient detox and addiction treatment center. When you first stop consuming drugs or alcohol, you may experience acute withdrawal symptoms, such as seizures, sweating, shaking, anxiety, depression, insomnia, headaches, and gastrointestinal distress. Withdrawals can range from mild to severe, but in some cases, the process can pose serious risks, such as delirium tremens (DT), a potentially fatal form of alcohol withdrawal.

Attending a detox center like American Detox means that you can get off of substances safely with the help of a qualified medical team who will be available 24/7. Our team will be there to monitor your symptoms, administer medications, and help you get through the process both successfully and as comfortably as possible.

The detox stage of treatment usually lasts for about one week. Once you reach physical stability, you will be able to transition into our inpatient rehab program.

Inpatient Rehab

Our inpatient rehab program in South Carolina provides intensive therapy for drug and alcohol addiction. While in inpatient treatment at American Detox, you will learn new recovery skills, address any applicable underlying causes of addiction or factors that might play a role in addiction for you (such as high stress levels), and solidify healthy sober routines that can be transferred to your daily life after treatment. The inpatient rehab schedule at American Detox involves regular group therapy sessions, individual therapy, and other treatments. Family sessions are available via Zoom. The American Detox team uses the most evidence-based treatments for addiction and underlying causes or contributing factors, such as past trauma.

One of the benefits of attending our inpatient EAP drug rehab center is that we offer a home-like living environment for clients during their stay. Rather than a traditional hospital-like environment, American Detox has comfortable rooms, amenities such as exercise equipment, games, and indoor and outdoor communal spaces. Doing the healing work necessary for overcoming addiction in an inpatient environment can be beneficial because it removes you from current triggers, stressors, and patterns temporarily, allowing you to focus on your recovery.

Discharge Planning

Discharge planning is a critical part of addiction treatment. Before you leave American Detox, we will help you make a customized discharge plan that will help set you up for success post-treatment. Your discharge plan may include referrals to outpatient programs or therapists, support groups, and continued medication management. This is also the stage where we may help you prepare for your return to work.

Specialized Programs

We know that everyone facing addiction has a different story. American Detox offers specialized programs, such as our first responder’s drug rehab program and our veteran’s drug rehab program. These programs address the unique needs of specific populations, such as frontline workers.
